Opinion

Lane Bryant

I do believe I will be boycotting , despite their apology — which wasn’t even made directly to the artist.

Not that I would have shopped there anyway — far too overpriced and shipping from US stores to Australia is astronomical.

Backstory:

Lane Bryant’s Twitter saw some of Natalie’s wonderful shirt designs and objected. Apparently people declaring they are fat goes against their principles.

You know what goes against my principles, Lane Bryant?

A large corporation dissing an independent artist’s work. Indie artists already have to put up with large corporations stealing designs and artwork and often aren’t aware of their legal rights in regards to the artwork. And NOW they have to put up with the same corporations publicly dissing them?

No.
