Emily, from BelleCurve, the latest fashion oriented plus sized brand at Myer contacted me recently, asking if I would be willing to try some of the new line. Being someone who will pretty much never turn down the offer of trying on clothing, I agreed to review my favourite items from the line.

The Global Traveller maxi skirt. This is just lovely. Soft and silky with splits up the side and an on summer trend tan belt, I’m looking forward to wearing this high waisted, paper bag style. I’ve paired it with a button up denim top and black brogues, totally copying off an awesome catwalk trend for spring/summer.

The Spring Bloom pants. These are slightly too big for me, but I should have realised having a stretchy fabric would mean that they’d, dur, be stretchy. I am forever stuffing up my sizing in pants!! They’re very well made and comfortable — also, surprisingly cool for pants. I’m not much of a pant person, particularly in the hotter months, but I think I’d wear these on those summer nights. I am always a huge fan of clashing prints, so I’ve paired them with a striped red top, my usual bright obnoxious lipstick and studded black loafers.
In conclusion, very impressed with the quality of the clothing! Both are super on trend for the coming months and will carry over to next year.
